..pues desde el jueves tengo bien pegada una canción... al menos el coro... desde la mañana que la escuche en mi casa antes de salir.. hasta este momento... aunke claro.. ya la he escuchado por lo mismo varias veces... y eso alimenta bastante la situación... la canción a la ke me refiero... y la ke constantemente ando cantando/tarareando... es la de Girlshapedlovedrug de Gomez... del grupo la verdad no les puedo platikar mucho.. ya ke me he familiarizado con él desde hace poco... pero lo ke es cierto es ke me he vuelto muy fan de su musica... los discos enteros son magnificos... y pues esta rola.. si mal no recuerdo se desprende del ultimo disco en su repertorio como el primer sencillo... aunke advierto ke tal vez la informacion no sea muy correcta... yo di con la cancion por primea vez ya despues de conocer a esta banda britanica y buscando videos de ellos en el famosisimo youtube... y pues me agrado mucho el video.. y la rola tambien... Girlshapedlovedrug... asi.. sin espacios ni guiones ni nada... una gran rola la verdad.. cuya letra refleja muchos casos al rededor del planeta... en el ke la relacion se vuelve un poco adictiva y hasta cierto punto masokista... en fin.. mejor cantenla ustedes....

una banda muy reomendable... ke ya gano de hecho en alguna ocasión el Mercury Award... del ke ya les platike alguna vez... y pues como la verdad no tengo ya mucho ke decir.. aki le parare....

...voy a aprovechar esta nochesita de sabado en la ke ya no sali... para contarles algo... ya ke tiene un rato ke no posteo nada... hace algunos días asistí a mi primer concierto en el Poliforum Siqueiros... ni mas ni menos ke kings of Convenience se presentaron un miercoles en la nochesita... a pesar de haber cancelado el concierto del dia anterior y por lo mismo tocando 2 veces el miercoles... y hasta el momento de las personas ke conosco ke hayan ido... a nadie desilucionaron... sino todo lo contrario... la verdad ha sido uno de los conciertos mas bonitos ke he escuchado... es tan impresionante como pueden 2 personas (y en algunas canciones otro par mas acompañandolos) cautivar e hipnotizar a un foro lleno... al menos el concierto al ke fui (el primero) vendio todas las entradas... desde la primera hasta la ultima nota el publico estuvo entregado... y el dueto (en momentos cuarteto) lo estuvo hacia la concurrencia tambien... se les notaba en los rostros lo bien que se la estaban pasando... de hecho en algun lugar lei que ellos regularmente son muy frios con el publico... y pues al menos aki no estuvo asi... y pues me alegra.. porke si se armo una coneccion muy chida con las canciones... o al menos asi lo senti yo...

...a pesar de que el concierto solo duro hora y cuarto... cada minuto fue de calidad... cada canción satisfizo, de perdida, mis oidos.. aunke estoy seguro ke no fui el unico... un concierto acustico en un lugar ke se prestaba bastante a mi parecer... tal vez sea porke por un rato fui muy fan de Siqueiros, y pues el lugar me fascina... pero no me imagino otro lugar ke hubiera kedado mejor... esperemos ke se animen en algun otro momento a regresar... ya dijeron ke grabaran nuevo material... ya kiero saber como se escuchara... mientras tanto les dejo unas cancioncitas.. algunas ke me vienen a la mente del concierto... de los grandes momentos en mi cabeza...pero pues versiones en vivo en KCRW...


Kings Of Conevenience - Caiman Islands ...una cancion que pinta una foto en la imaginacion... y le da una historia... y de cierta forma termina explicandonos de la grandeza de la sencillez... de la belleza de los simple... todo en una cancion tan sencilla como 2 guitarras acusticas.. y 2 voces... creando belleza... la letra es una obra de arte tambien...

Kings Of Convenience - Know How ... esta canción... y todas las demas... es otra joya... desde la musica... hasta la letra... aunke en esta version no los acompaña Feist en los coros... se conserva el sentimiento en la rola... si no saben a ke me refiero.. busken la version del disco... comprense el disco.. vale mucho la pena de hecho... esta es una de las cancinoes ke mas recuerdo del concierto... en especial la parte del coro... todo mundo... acompañando la letra... oooooh... what is there to know?... all this is what it is... ooooh... you and me alone... sheer simplicity... ...una de mis lineas favoritas del grupo... tal vez por lo cierto de la frase... una vez mas evocando a la sencillez...

Kings Of Convenience - Misread... uno de los sencillos mas conocidos de la banda... en el concierto se notó.. ya ke la voz de todos se escuchaba al unisono acompañando a los de arriba del escenario... otra de las grandes letras... llena de melancolia y verdad... a cerca de esa linea entre la amistad y algo mas... y la malinterpretacion de alguna verdad... The loneliest people... were the ones who always spoke the truth... todos los versos son dignos de cantar una y otra vez... si... la verdad me gusta mucho esta cancion... aki la letra...
